It is easier for the coaches seeking jobs to find them if it is not public knowledge that they have been fired. DM is trying to help them by keeping this quiet. Best of luck to both coaches...hope they both end up in good positions somewhere. No changes or announcements on the athletic site All coaching positions are as they were I sdee no purpose in posting that kind of stuff.Especially when its finite in fact.
Your wrong...they are not going to change a website so the fans can find out about it... they won't do it until the new hires are complete and until they are ready to talk about both..patience...No changes or announcements on the athletic site All coaching positions are as they were I sdee no purpose in posting that kind of stuff.Especially when its finite in fact.
Footballscoop has already indicated that Marrone is interviewing defensive coaches this week (at the convention, by implication). No changes or announcements on the athletic site All coaching positions are as they were I sdee no purpose in posting that kind of stuff.Especially when its finite in fact.
OK thats a bit more substantial in "fact" but hardly a statement of accomplished fact which those prior statements stated unequivocally. You gotta give me that.Conley is not yey gone nor is the other mentioned coach. If I had to choose one it would be Anselmo for the secondary I am flat out not impressed with his coaching or recruiting.:bat:Footballscoop has already indicated that Marrone is interviewing defensive coaches this week (at the convention, by implication).

I think I missed this, but who are the coaches that are speculated to already be out the door?
The biggest problem with Brumbaugh over the last couple years that I noticed was in recruiting he seemed to have lost contact while recruiting some supposedly top prospects. Now maybe hewas under "orders to drop the prospect for some reason, I don't know but he was mentioned a few times to have been the primary recruiter who just disappeared on a kid. As for Conley, I don't know why he would be canned by Doug. Was it coaching or recruiting that was below par?:noidea:Conley and Brumbaugh.
I don't think any of the Cuse pay sites list the primary recruiter so I'm not sure you can judge on something you don't know. The biggest problem with Brumbaugh over the last couple years that I noticed was in recruiting he seemed to have lost contact while recruiting some supposedly top prospects. It was mentioned in articles on other sites. I'm thinking at this point that the decision to discontinue certain kids came from above. Its hard to imagine a coach just dropping a kid in mid process like that out of incompetence. It doesn't make any difference at this point if he is gone. I just hope the new guys can bring kids into the program who play at a high level.I don't think any of the Cuse pay sites list the primary recruiter so I'm not sure you can judge on something you don't know.
