Are the Giants worse than the Jags? NMR

No. The giants offense is far superior to the jags. That being said, the giants d is just trash.

Better question: who has a better secondary, Syracuse or NY Giants? They are both pitiful.

Thank goodness for the Jags. Most years, this Giants team would be the worst in the league. Luckily the worst team in NFL history is also lacing them up this year.

With all the great QB talent in next year's draft, let's hope the Giants can trade a top 3 pick into multiple first rounders.

Jags are furious at the Giants and Steelers. Moving in on their #1 pick turf. They expect this from Schiano's Bucs, but not those 2.

NY Giants just need to retool their OL and they will be fine. The QB, WR, DL positions are well above average. They just can't block and Eli Manning is getting happy feet and is forcing throws. Nicks has a quit on a couple of Manning's INTs. The Jags are truly pathetic for an NFL team, but the GMen are just having a tough year. The Lions and Eagles went 4-12 last year the Giants are probably headed that way. The Jags are a two win team at most.

Are the best and worst teams in the league quarterbacked by Mannings?

The last time the Giants started a season 0-6, Archie Manning was still a QB in the NFL and Peyton was just an infant. Oh Lord

Given that you are what your record says you are, and the Jags are currently 0 and 5 and the Giants are currently 0 and 6, yes, the Giants are worse than the Jags.

It's mostly injuries and the OL. The turnovers are brutal and seem to all happen at the worst possible time. Healthy, this Giants team is pretty solid. They're just so banged up right now that guys are out there that have no business playing so much. I mean, Brandon freakin Jacobs (who played quite well) was the feature back tonight.

Not worse but certainly more disappointing. Also not all of those picks are on the receivers. The last one last night is a little on Eli. Myers was wide open on that seam. It was not one of those plays were Eli had to put it only where his receiver caught it. He has 15 INTs this year. You can't do that and win football games.

It's so frustrating, after years of DL excellence, seeing the Giants not able to pressure the QB. That's half the secondary's problem right there. Oh Lord

The Jaguars are horrible. The worst team in football and it's not close. If they played final score would be NYG 31 JAC 6

I love this thread.

the great elixer to fix all their problems, would be to see lil tommy and the gang on the schedule.

So would the Jags (or the Bucs). They are both hopelessly woeful. Maybe they should start recruiting more in their home state.

My question is...any chance that, if the season continues to be a disaster, and the G-men are staring at a 2-10 type situation, Nassib gets to get some significant game action? Not as a punishment to Manning per se but more of a "why not? chance for development?

You guys have no idea how happy it makes me to not see the Lions appear when discussing the worst teams in the league

Could be, but that'd just be 1 win.

Although 1-15 might look attractive to you guys at this point.
