He went on to say that the goal for all sports is "to make the postseason", which is a pretty low bar to me, but others may be fine with it. If you had told the fans in 1992 or 2000 or 2014 that you just want to make the postseason and anything else on top of that is gravy, I don't think it would go over very well.
