If you go back to SU circa the mid 1980s, we had players like Tim Green, Blaise Winter, Jaime Kimmel, Bill Pendock, Ted Gregory and Paul Frase. All those guys except Pendock played in the NFL. If you go back to the late 1950s, you have a similar situation. The 1959 team had a tremendous DL that was the best in all of college football. The good news is that enough though we do not have any star level players on this unit, for the first time in a long time, we are developing some decent depth. Hopefully there is enough talent to stop the run and finally start putting some pressure on the QB. [/QUOTE]
