Impossible.

It is a lot to manage now and from the outside it sure looks like  show.

Babers is working his tail off; losing coordinators, hiring a new DC, still looking for an offensive assistant, recruiting portal kids, recruiting hs kids, managing portal losses, NFL early entrants, Bowl game opt outs, injuries, academic casualties and more.  Oh, and preparing those that are left for a bowl game.

As a fan, it’s frustrating.   I can’t imagine how it feels for Dino, his staff and the players who will be on an empty campus for another week and missing the holidays with their families before leaving for NYC to play the bowl game.  I’m dizzy.

Players will be home for a little more than two weeks before they return to Syracuse for the spring semester (Dec 30th - Jan 16th).  I think they get one week off before the winter strength and conditioning program starts.  Keep in mind the players have been on campus since fall camp opened the first week in August.

As I understand it, the winter strength and conditioning program is four days a week starting at like 6:30am.   An early start time isn’t a big deal except for the days that it’s less than 20 degree and dark outside.  The early enrollees from HS and the transfers have something to look forward to.

Most people couldn’t do what these guys do.  They are special.
