One measuring stick is the desire of SU fans to invest themselves in watching the games of other conference teams. I have to be honest, until this year, I haven’t really gone out of my way to watch other ACC teams on TV - unless perhaps we we going to play one of the teams the following week.
I frequently watched BE games back when Miami, VT, SU, WVU, BC et al played conference games.

But I did watch NCSt v Wake last night, and it was a great game.

Perhaps it helps that SU is winning again, so watching conference opponents square off is not as painful as when SU is struggling. Just the same, building rivalries takes time, and having a interest in other teams is indicative of a budding rivalry.

Straightening out the conference scheduling problems will go along way to help this. We need to play Miami and VT and others more frequently than every 5 years! But from my view, it’s finally starting to feel like we are actually in the conference.

Yeah, with us getting to this level and other games mattering it feels like we're home (minus the Food Lion and Mellow Mushroom commercials).

Guys are watching games and outcomes figuring out bowls and such. And hoop is finally done with probation where we can start winning ACC tournament games again.

Winning definently interests me in other games (conference, division, league) across the sports map for sure. And agreed, really enjoyed the Wake/NC St game

I started from year one, but everyone is different. I enjoy watching other ACC teams for football muxh more than basketball.

I enjoy watching. And quite honestly for the good of the conference as a whole, find myself rooting for teams I hate against non conference members. Love it.

Living in NC I get kind of a mixed bag. But I felt IN the ACC for football when we beat Minnesota in the Texas Bowl and UNC, Wake, Duke, and NC State fans around here would include that in arguments to show how underrated their conference was compared to the B1G etc. In basketball it wasn't until we beat Virginia to get to the FF... that felt like destroying a conference rivals dream season... and it felt good.

I definitely am watching an above average amount of games to see how they impact the orange. That is a nice side effect of being relevant, seeing how other teams do and how it impacts our bowl destination. A bunch of games tomorrow could have an impact on us, BC-Clemson, FSU-ND to name a couple. I also tune in to most bowl games too knowing that we are in the postseason that year.

There’s was definitely a process for me... but it’s there now. Lookin back at the Big East conference opponents now, especially towards the end, I’m completely separated.

I love where we’re at now. I enjoy the strength of the opponents and the rivalries I think are developing.

When Dr. Gross was at the USC game in 2012, the change to the ACC had just been announced. I thanked him personally then. I still think it's the single best sports decision that occurred during his tenure. Without this move, we would be UConn right now. Sure, we would have dominated whatever B-Ball league we wound up in until Boeheim retired, but every other sport except Women's Basketball and Hockey would have suffered.

That last sentence made me laugh so hard I started coughing. And I like Tony Bennett and have never hated UVA in any sport the way I hate Dook and Moo.

And as much as I hate Dook, I still hate UK and Calipari more because they are not in the ACC. So I love Dook trashing UK, and then hope the whole ACC makes Rat Face cry.

Cant ever get fully onboard with conference homerism but the other conferences I like are the Big 12 and Pac 12 so I'll root for our fellow ACC brethren over pretty much any B1G or SEC team.

Its a good league in that even the lesser teams aren't too unwatchable. I'd watch Wake Duke for example if it was on a Thursday.

No, we haven’t played every team home and away yet. Just another 6 years.

I wish I was still living in Charlotte now that we are in the ACC for the convenience of attending games but oh well......as a whole I will route for the conference I just cant stand some of the DOOK and Tar Heel fans.....with that said this is where we need to be from a sports and financial stand point....
