Arizona Fan Day practice - Rick Rod's excellent idea

I watched this, and, it looked great. Don't forget though, GRob's tried to do something very similar about 10 years ago with Gomez and Dave MC'ing.

I specifically remember a portly fella that they trotted out to midfield and slapped a helmet on. Thy boomed him some punts in the hopes he could field one. Poor fella never had a chance, stumbling forward about 6 yards before eating turf pellets.

That's fantastic. Especially for kids.

The spring game needs to go. Too boring for fans and too risky for the players.

The final day of spring practice should be both a party-like celebratory atmosphere for the players for completing another grinding spring practice season and a productive way to market the team to the local community and young fans.

So which board member was this? :)

First problem is they had Gomez and Dave

That's great idea. Boy RR has things humming down there. Gameday in Tucson has become a real event. Don't laugh - lot's of parallels with Syracuse in Tucson. Looking forward to DB bringing the same level of excitement (and success) to the old alma mater.

Must not be as great as it seems as he really wanted the South Carolina gig (and the VT job too, but he was out of the runner there early).

I'm not so sure about that. He's treated really well in Tucson. I'm friends with one of their big boosters - by big, I mean the guy who paid for the "Lowell-Stevens Football Facility" on the UA campus. They treat RR incredibly well. Private jet access, all kinds of perks. Their AD gets it with both football and basketball. RR is a king there.

Your next mission is to somehow convince Mr Lowell or Mr Stevens to become a Syracuse fan!
