Drug violation.

Sean Miller should be nervous. Tick tock coming.

University of Arizona statement:

"Earlier today, the University of Arizona was notified that the NCAA has declared Allonzo Trier ineligible. In late January 2018, Allonzo participated in an NCAA student-athlete drug screening. The results of that test, confirmed today, revealed the reappearance of a trace amount of a banned substance. The amount detected was miniscule by scientific standards and appears to be a remnant of a substance, which the NCAA agreed, Allonzo had unknowingly ingested in 2016. The University is appealing the decision and is hopeful that Allonzo will regain his eligibility soon."

That’s some good ish if it’s still in his system from 2 years ago!

If Arizona goes down, that should be a heckuva boost for Hopkins. Recruiting just became a little easier. Less competition to get to that top rung in the conference.

This doesn't make sense, either he shouldn't have been reinstated or that press release is the worst attempt at a pivot of all time. If this is a new drug test after he passed the one to be reinstated I guess this is legit, otherwise it's fishy. Also does this mean, 'Zona had the wins from games he played in forfeited if this is upheld?

What

How many lawyers worked on that?

"Results..., confirmed today" - wow, confirmed results, huh?
"Revealed the reappearance" - awesome
"miniscule" "trace" "remnant"
"Unknowingly ingested" - did the ncaa really agree on this?
What are we talking about here? Pot brownies?

Nope. Ostarine. Again. Article seems to suggest he's been tested quite a bit. But apparently, no pun intended, it can linger in fatty tissue, his lawyer says the experts say.

"appears to be a remnant of a substance, which the NCAA agreed, Allonzo had unknowingly ingested in 2016."

What in the hell does this mean? The NCAA agrees the test is only positive due to remnants from a remote positive which he's already been punished for yet they decide to suspend him anyway? Does this make any sense?

Univ of Arizona officials claim Biff Tannen stole the Delorean in 2016, went to 2018 and put the stuff in Allonzo’s food. Yeah, that’s the ticket!
