Army is always a good one to go to, (well, except for the one when they knocked us out of the post season right in our house) so make the trip to the Dome...we don't need no stinkin' TV!!! No turn coat here, but I like to give those Army boys a round of applause too, it's the least we can do. See you there.

Eh I figured Piroloe was out, he's probably out till St. Johns based on Desko's comments.

Disappointed in the Barber news, was really hoping he could play Sunday. Depth takes a huge hit.

Puts a lot of pressure on Donahue, Mariano and Evans. Gotta think Barber is back for UVA

Good idea, this kid's a player. Also fits in nicely as a righty, we seem to be loaded with lefties at attack.
Not worried about Prioli and possibly Barber being out this week, fortunately we're pretty well set with pretty darn good players who can step up and fill in. Plus I'm hoping the sleeping giant, Lane, awakened last week and brings the same aggressive attitude he had in the Albany game to the field this week. This kid could be a real game changer if he decides to take games over. All (most of) the tools are there. He's fundamentally sound...passes to the stick, laser shot, good eyes, good field sense...and could turn out to be an unexpectedly huge (no pun intended) contributor to this year's team. Am real anxious to see how he plays Sunday.

Shewell got in when the game was still within reach against Albany. Maybe it is selective memory but it feels like Desko is using more freshman at key moments than in past years.
