Some forget the realities. The difference in money is not as great as people think. Sounds like rutgers fans last year who thought they would "make" $1.2M because that is what they were getting paid. Come to find out, after expenses (just like a bowl) and the loss of home ticket sales, concessions, parking etc, the difference was a lot less. People who think it will be some recruiting lightening bolt, forget that it will increase the chances that a game at the Dome will have less attendance and people will cry that the fans aren't impressing the recruits (remember, when a recruit does a visit, it is at the Dome, not the Meadowlands). Lastly, we lose a big competitive advantage. Our chances of beating a top OOC opponent is greater in the Dome than in the Meadowlands. I'd rather beat a UCLA in the Dome than lose to a USC in the Meadowlands. What happened to everyone (the same ones that love the Meadowlands deal) that said winning will cure all? Never seen a program be successful that didn't do everything they could to maximize home attendance.
