I believe someone posted about a week ago that they thought he'd said he wasn't interested in the SU job right now.  I also think he may not want to follow his good friend Adrian Autry's failed tenure in the job.  (Although he did think he would have done a better job.)  Gerry will go on to bigger jobs than Siena, at the right time.  If he ever has a chance to come back to Syracuse a number of years from now, he may.  But probably not now.  I am surprised with all of the so-called "pundits" in the college basketball world saying that he's the frontrunner.   I don't think he is or wants to be.

Addendum Edit: I also don't think Gerry would want it if he thinks, or knows, that Hop would (or does).
