Broyld has been very impressive so far. In the opener versus Atlanta, Ashton went 9-of-12 passing for 134 yards and a touchdown, and rushed 11 times for 93 yards and two touchdowns. He didn't play quite as much in the second game, the blowout against Hudson Valley. He completed 4-of-5 passes for 45 yards and a touchdown, and ran the ball 4 times for 75 yards and two scores. Stats from the Lehigh game are not yet available.

He better stay at QB when he gets here.

Hey, I know who wrote that ;)

I expect he'll get a fair shake at QB, just like Kinder and Hunt who are both similar athletes have. The nice thing about our strategy for QBs is that they all have the ability to play elsewhere if it doesn't work out. Kinder was arguably Lawrence's best defensive player his senior year at free safety (they put him there after a few games when the defense was getting toasted through the air), and Hunt is also a tremendous athlete.

He'll get a shot at QB. 50/50 as to whether he stays there. He has just been so much bigger than his competition that he has excelled. He does have some mechanical flaws and he is not a quick nor fast kid. Many think his future is at DE or OLB, maybe even TE.
