I don't think so. They have all had bigger offers, which goes back to an argument I had on here a couple of months ago with a Rutgers poster. I said that the top talent in NJ still goes elsewhere when the bigger programs come calling and he vehemently denied it. The fact remains that the top talent in NJ often commit to Rutgers when they offer first, but once the big boys come by it's "nice knowing you RU".

The latest issues are apparently because Flood basically tells the kids when they commit that if they take any visits elsewhere, their schollies are no longer available. These kids naturally want to go see other schools so Flood has been giving out ultimatums and the kids are saying adios. It's a foolish stance on the part of Flood, imo.

I don't know if this is why guys are transferring too. Maybe they never looked at other schools during their recruitments

It was already announced that Rutgers will be required to play some games at MetLife. They are also getting less money than Maryland. The move to the B1G is still a great move for them but there is no question about it; they are going to be an associate member.

They are 5-3, which isn't great by any means but not 2-6, They have had some defects and verbals who have said they will look elsewhere and people are acting as if Flood has been exposed? For what? Being 5-3, losing a few football games, I really don't get this SH!te, I really don't. We had two recruits go elsewhere as well, it happens. My god, Rutgers football is a lot like we are, they are OK, sometimes bad, sometimes they look OK. What. Move on.

Does Flood hate Old people? Kick his dog when he goes home after a game, slap his wife? He gets paid to win football games and try to recruit. He has a job to do just like the rest of us. Geeze.

They should have three more losses and be at 2-6

After the next two weeks they will probably be 5-5

Rutgers has had 6-7 decommits this year from there class and had 3 people including a starter leave the team this year. They also needed two last second touchdowns on fourth down to beat SMU and 1 win Temple. Trust me its bad, there own fans are starting to revolt even those who would give there first born just to touch Schiano.
