Agreed, people aren't complaining just to complain. This is an internet messageboard. We are fans as long as nothing personal is said about the coaches/players then any critiques should be heard without complaints for anyone. This board shouldn't be an echo chamber. Either our football team is not as good as people thought and Friday's night was good or we were horrible and people complaining have reason.

Villanova was a good FBS team, but they are clearly the worst or 2nd worst team(CMU) on our schedule and we needed a kicker to miss a 25 yard field goal INDOORs to have a chance to win and then resorted to a fake  field goal from the 1.5 yard line to be able to punch a TD on the board. Yet, now Nova has Elway at QB and Iowa State getting beatdown by the 3x FBS champions means our performance was okay. The solace I will take from that game is we need 5 more wins to become bowl eligible and we wouldn't be reminded in the future we lost to a FBS team.
