nassib is 13th in rank in ranking minus rank in attempts. He is 45th in ranking and 5th in attempts.
biggest gap in the big east
we need to be able to run the ball. we miss bailey. will we be able to maintain any type of offense in the big east if we're throwing all day for a slightly better than average passer rating (if we're lucky enough to maintain that which i don't think we will)
just to be clear, even though I don't think nassib's any good, it's not his fault the running game isn't much to write home about. sacks might drag the averages down because college football is goofy about counting sacks as rushing attempts
the pace of play has helped us getting rushing attempts up. considering how many passes we've thrown it's pretty good to be 51st in rushing attempts.
i'm nervous about the big east now. which games are anomalous? do BE defenses resemble Minn or do they resemble NW (and USC actually)? hopefully lou alexander cost us the game by himself and that problem is easily fixed.
