Syracuse basketball is like a professional sports team in CNY. Syracuse basketball when it’s winning is “IT” in CNY. We’ve seen that for decades. Players and coaches when the program are going, are treated like pro athletes and celebrities. The dome gets packed, we are one of the winningest programs of all time, multiple final fours, a national championship, some of the most NBA draft picks of all time. It has consistently been shown it can be down here over decades. Alum and CNY are proud of Cuse basketball and we want a winner. No other program has a JMA Wireless, hell when Cuse basketball is rolling Dickie V said it himself during the Duke game back in the day “Syracuse basketball is the Mecca of college basketball”. No one can match the energy and atmosphere of a Sold out JMA and a big game atmosphere. It literally cannot be matched because no one can hold as many people as we do.

NIL is unknown. I like to think we can spend $12-$15 mil a year on a team and that should be enough to be a competitor. Truthfully if we had a competent coach. I think this years team is pretty easily a tourney team. But we all know we have horrible coaching.
