Aug 2nd camp

Cannot wait to see how the OL sorts out.

Pumped about the RBs and WRs.

Juiced to see Tommy run this offense even quicker than last year.

Defensively, I think we will be monstrous. I'm not nearly as worried about the LBs as others are. We got a stacked DL and secondary to help diminish any potential shortcomings there.

Best time of the year.

The OL, as always...is the key.

I’d prefer to not have questions about it, need to keep them all healthy and practicing is right.

Tommy should throw for 1,000 more yards & 15 TDs than Dungey did each year.

Let’s get after it.

"If you don't have an o-line and a d-line, you're not going to win," Babers said. "You're only as good as those elephants are."

That was true in 2016 when DB first said it, and it's still true today. We need the elephants to be ready.

Ive been getting in shape the last 6 months to storm the field when we beat Clemson Sept 14th. Both my high jump and 39 yard dash are getting better. The only thing left to decide is which field goal post will we attempt to tear down ( I know this is dangerous and this is mere satire) but I will storm the field!

I say lots more yards but our talented backs will earn some of the Td's but don't look now the speculation period is just about over

Boo.

Only 4 more days of Summer, then CuseLegacy and I have to go back to work full time. :(

Pick whichever you prefer, more than one if you like:

1) You know you are there because no one else would do half the job you two do.

2) The posters on this site fully appreciate the work you do!

3) You two are the greatest!

4) That's why you make the big bucks! Now get back to work!

5) We gave you time off since lacrosse ended, what more do you want?

Seriously, thanks for all you and CL do. This site's staff are the best, it is not said enough, but it honestly is appreciated by everyone here. Thanks, again.

No report on the 12 oz. curles and how much Hofmann's you can press? Both are integral parts of your tailgating endurance and may affect you storming capabilities. Do we need to get TM and the Fine Mess crew to whip you into proper fan shape?

Those QB run TDs should now be pass TDs and I’d like to score some more points in general, but yes...the running game should put the ball in the end zone more too.

Gonna be fun...

Be careful out there:

Practice sticking the landing when jumping down off higher elevations. Last time we beat Clemson, people were dropping like flies trying to jump down on to the field.

I hope you have the newest and most expensive sneakers so that you spring onto the field and not bounce and splat.

Its kind of hard to practice jumping over a railing while being pushed unexpectedly and not fully in position to jump. Rushing the field sounds fun but the part where your jumping the railing with a bunch of people storming behind you ...not so much.

Best part of that pic is the cop's face in the background...cheezin from ear to ear

Go under the railing, not over.

Things I am worried about:
Devito's legs when he gets pressure
OL tackles giving up sacks
DT depth
Giving up the big play
Having Clemson split 4xwide then run down our throats up the middle
at Maryland
Injuries to a few players
When is Elmore coming back seemed like long term injury already

The last time I stormed the field(1998), we were in the Hokies section. Didn’t have to worry about anyone pushing us because we were the only ones trying to get on the field as the Hokies fans all looked like they were about to cry. After their unfounded first half arrogance(some bubba was screaming “MCNAIR FOR HEISMAN!!??” to major nerdy chuckles and high fives after every unsuccessful SU play) built off 3 lucky plays, it was a beautiful site.

The writing off of Maryland gets me. FSU too. We’ve had one good year and people act like we’re 10 years passed those programs. They’ve got players.

I like our team and coaching and I’m sure they won’t overlook them. Both those games could be tough on the road though.

I am concerned about 3 instances where we will be both on the road and playing better athletes 1-40 but MD is not one of them.

FSU, NCST & L’ville in that order scare me more than UMD

OttoinGrotto has convinced me

I’m with you there. In terms of our overall schedule, I wouldn’t rank Maryland all that high on games that scare me.

But I don’t think it’s a foregone conclusion. I know the coach sucks. I think we’ll win. But they’ve got athletes and it’s early. @ Western Michigan got scary last year.
