No, but Harden is the third best player on one of the 3 best teams in the NBA. It's not like he is just an average player and is only better than Flynn because Flynn got hurt and was drafted onto a team that didn't fit him. The odds seem pretty low that even if Jonny was healthy he'd be as good as Harden. Which was my point at the time.
 
Jonny is a short guard who wasn't a great outside shooter. His draft stock went up because of a nice run in the BET and Ncaa tournament; there were plenty of signs that he was going to be overdrafted. At the time I was lower on his NBA chances than most here. I'm not trying to toot my horn here (well, not that much, at least) but this isn't revisionist history on my part.  And it's not exactly like I am making a crazy argument; Harden was more highly ranked than Flynn coming out of high school, was more decorated in college (made first team AA as a soph), was more highly thought of in the draft, and has been a better player in the NBA.
 
The larger point was more that a lot of people here dismissed Harden based off one game that he played against us.
