Remember, this is a kid that scored 3 straight goals to open the game against the USA U-19s (a day after putting up 3&4 vs Canada) before the US won 21 straight FOs & the Iroquois barely touched the ball again. In that game, USA G Willie Klan faced a total of 4 shots on goal...Staats scored on 3 of those. The best teenage defenders in America had absolutely zero answer for him. He's put up numbers in the OLA Jr A ranks that rival John Grant Jr.'s

My only concern would be his friendship/familiarity with Naticoke & Marr's style luring him to UA but I think he's Orange & that Desko will give him the same freedom as Randy from the start.
