Average Attendance 2019: 43,853

Considering a few games had ridiculous announced attendances, we can call it an even 40,000.

Even there thats a little more than a 5% increase from last year.

CNY continues to show up for it’s team, as do the diehards who drive in from elsewhere.

additionally, our social media following’s up tens of thousands of followers. The AD’s doing well and people love Dino.

42,857 is what was official for the BC game (that is, tickets distributed). From my seat in 301 I would have guessed high 20s was the actual butts in seats attendance. Not terrible from the way we've played the game this year. And I was pleasantly surprised to see how many came back for the second half and stuck around until the end of the 3rd. Granted, we were among maybe 3,000 fans who stayed until the bitter end (of course, we live south of Albany and usually only get up for one or two games a year so we want to spend as much time cheering on the team as possible).

Of course last year had some “ridiculous announced attendance” figures too. So need to compare apples to apples. 2019 is likely way more than +5%.

Check back next year. Fan attendance is always a lagging indicator. This year reflects 2018 and next year will most likely reflect 2019.

I thought the BC crowd sucked. 50% of our section was empty. People who were there were also able to easily spread out then there were rows with long stretches completely empty.

The BC games the one game i’ll agree with you on. I think the crowd realistically was around 34-35,000 at most

They gave up at halftime of the Clemson game. SU only has about 200 hardcore Student fans of FB (not counting the band and cheer teams)

at any point of almost any game there is 1-2K of people not sitting in seats.

why does the band continue to start trying to play sweet caroline 15 secs before play starts and they have to stop?

My section mirrored this as well. There were people leaving early in the 3rd quarter that I have never seen leave a game early.
