B1G

Not sure if the B1G does but the Big 12 has purposely done this due to the fact they didn't have a CCG.

What I dislike most about the Big 10 is that they dictated how the ACC can run their own conference regarding the two division/scheduling thing.

Do they intentionally backload the top teams schedules?

How do they always have 3 - Top 10 teams all year and they never seem to play anyone worth a damn.

I loathe this boring conference.

Always overrated and always overhyped.
Seems like every year they have 8 homes games too.

PSU has the one of the softest schedules in the P5. It's easy to look great when you play cupcakes week in and week out. If they lose to tSOU and or UM, they don't lose any significant perception points because those two are expected to be tough games. Every other team is simply cannon fodder and PSU should soundly beat them.

Good point. The B1G is very top heavy. SEC/ACC has a legit middle tier. The B1G has a few good teams and a bunch of trash cans.

Everything that PSU touches is slimy/greasy.

I'm not sure about this. I feel like I need a shower for defending the B1G, but they do have a sound top (OSU-PSU-UM-W), a solid middle (MSU-UN-Iowa-UMD?-Minn?), and like every other conference, an awful bottom (Illinois-Purdue-the ladies-Northwestern)

Some of those may need to be moved around (I go out of my way not to watch that snooze-fest), but I wouldn't feel better about playing a mid-tier ACC school (NCSU? Pitt?) than MSU/Nebraska/Iowa.

Perhaps. I just think the entire conference is unathletic and boring year in/year out aside from Ohio State and a few guys on Michigan.

I think that middle tier would get worked by the middle tier of the SEC and ACC.

I'm not sure, but to your point, I don't bet against schools like Miami and GT. I know GT has off years, and Miami hasn't been Miami in 15 years, but both schools usually have the horses to beat anybody on any given day if the starts align.
