Welcome! We are hosting several one-day, all-position football camps at Syracuse University. These camps are designed for high school student-athletes. This includes participants entering ninth grade through current graduating seniors, two-year prep school or junior-college athletes. The camps provide an opportunity for direct interaction with and instruction from the Syracuse coaching staff. The camps are the same each day and all positions are welcome to attend any day that is convenient. They are not position-specific. All positions are welcome to attend any session.

We hope one of the dates will be convenient for you as you make your way through the camp circuit this summer.

NOTE: There will not be an overnight/commuter camp in 2016.

Last year Shafers' staff had seven camps...only four scheduled for Babers.

Interesting, is there a limit on the amount of days or times for these camps? I know Shafer ran alot of them during the weekday. This gave more kids a chance to get there and show the staff what they could do. The problem was there was no competition because of the low number of attendees. Prospects would choose different days. I was there when there was less than 20 kids. You get more individual attention and feedback but your not competing against the higher profile prospects.

Maybe that is part of the reason ..they want full camps. I also noted they they are starting a week later so that alone cuts back on the number of camps.

Since the camps were first posted they have added an additional camp date for a team camp...

Also now showing a camp listed as Saturday Night Live for Saturday July 30th.

Will be interesting to see now that the ACC has lifted a ban on satellite camps further than 50 miles from campus if the staff brings back camps in NYC and LI. I'd also like to see us participate in camps in NJ.

Definitely have room in the current schedule to have an off campus camp...or at least have the coaches work a camp with another school.
