Again at East End Bar & Grill---why not? Funniest part about this one is that while I was "filming", the bartender hands me a bottle of champagne. So about a minute in I make sure to include the bottle in the video and even snuck myself in for a late cameo.

I have been doing the "due diligence", but not looking too promising for Saturday. First off, flights are insane on Friday out of NYC area. Also, what's unique this year is that we are huge underdogs on Saturday. The last thing I want to do is hang around Houston for 3 more days to get the Tuesday flight home should we lose (would be too expensive to switch the flight between the $200 change fee that they charge PLUS the change in fare price). It was so nice a few years ago in Atlanta as 5 of us from here rented an SUV. So after the loss we all got right back in the SUV on Sunday and drove home. And of course the game tix are usually always tough (so probably too many obstacles this year). If we win Saturday, would definitely consider flying down Sunday though.

Yeah, I get that...to get reasonably priced flights, we are leaving really early on Friday and coming home really late on Tuesday...not ideal...especially if we don't make the final...

But between the Space Museum, the battleship Texas and the Natural Science Museum, there is enough to keep us busy (and educational enough that I don't feel we are wasting time with his missing school)..

Problem is that airlines have gotten too smart about adjusting pricing around Event locations, hotels gouge you and, even with a couple of smaller fanbases, tix are still really expensive...

When you add that all up plus add in that this is our second final four in four years, it starts to become prohibitive...

Hopefully, you'll have reason to come down on Sunday..
