Backboard breaking dunks

Since there is not much positive news lately I found myself drifting down the memory lane more and more.

Yesterday during the Pitt game they showed the shattering of the backboard by Pitt's Jerome Lane dunking.

Can we list all the cuse players who have broken the backboard and what games?

I remember Onuaku's in 2007 but can't remember any others.

not sure about any other times it happened... but man do I miss Raf calling our games. Mike Gorman was on the call then too, he was great doing the play-by-play for the Big East Network.

Kind of sad that Pitts claim to.fame is a dude breaking a backboard in a game in Janruary.

Breaking a backboard isn't very exciting. It just means a half hour of watching maintenance workers replace it.

I will take anything at this point. Even flashlight and plug in mini heater commercials are better than watching our zone.
