it cost us the uconn game and is the only reason BU is in the game at the half.. why do they reward guys on 3s who are out of control but ignore so many calls in the pain where guys get hammered.

The defense picked up at the end of the 1st half and played really well in the 2nd half until we stepped off the gas up 100 points with 10 minutes left.

You have to remember also that that big 3 point foul against UConn was not a foul. The refs blew that call because they didn't recognize that the shooter created the contact by kicking out his leg, which should either be a no-call or an offensive foul. Today, that first one against Lydon was atrocious; he didn't touch the shooter.

Refs make the calls that are easiest to see and base it on what they assume happened. The action in the paint is like the offensive line in football. You could call holding on every play. The stuff on the perimeter is more physically isolated and easier to react to.
