After losing 5 starters on the offense last season with Staats, Rice, Lecky, Galasso, and Schoonmaker all departing the offense this year done an amazing job all things considered. That was an amazing chunk of offense to lose. An absolutely amazing job by Dylan Donahue, who has Quarterbacked the offense all season long. He truly is like an extra coach this year out there.

This season Timmy Barber, Serge Salcido, Jordan Evans, and Dylan Donahue all have 24 goals on the season and have stepped up tremendously. Salcido especially, what a great little player he has become. Mariano leads the team in goals with 32 goals, he fell in Desko's lap and we should be very grateful for that.

Points Leaders:
Donahue (24goals, 30assists)
Mariano (32 goals, 11assists)
Salcido (24goals, 19assists)
Barber (24goals, 13assists)
Evans (24 goals, 7 assists)
DeJoe (16 goals, 6 assists)

Other guys that have done a nice job are Matt Lane who has 5 goals and 5 assists, Nate Soloman with 5 goals and 2 assists, and Joe Gillis with 5 goals.

Lecky and Schoonie were addition by subtraction as Salcido and Mariano are much better shooters and are scoring goals on shots that Lecky and Schoonie were struggling to put on cage last year.

Would agree with that but Lecky's speed and dodging ability made him demand a pole. Sometimes the defense can get away with not poling Salcido and put one on Mariano instead. I think we might see some more double poles on the middies as we head into the playoffs. Also has anyone heard anything on Lane, wasn't out there at all yesterday. No sign on 2nd line mid or EMO.

Was available apparently after missing practice the day before due to what I believe is a nagging injury. I am assuming Desko didn't see the need to play him at less then 100%. That second line can use some help though.

Lecky drew a pole some of the time but teams were polling Galasso more and more as the season went on last year. Lecky's issue was that his shot was on about once every 4 or 5 games. If you re-watch the loss to Hopkins in the tourney last year he had about a half dozen looks and none were on cage.

Lecky rarely shot low either on the bounce or a worm burner. When he shot low often he had success. It just never registered with him. It was very frustrating.
