If we are headed towards 4 SUPER CONFERENCE of 16 teams, which by all accounts we are in the near future...the big east adding teams really isn't a huge deal anymore. Unless we are going to be the 2nd tier of college sports competing with teams in the WAC/Conf-USA/Mountain West. The landscape of college sports has changed so much recently and will change so much more in the next year or two that adding a team here or there doesn't mean much anymore. Big Picture its about finding a spot in one of these "SUPER CONFERENCES." The Big East could add UCF or whoever starting in 2014 but by 2014 the Big East might not even be playing football!!!!! You could have Pitt, RU, SU, and UCONN in the ACC..Big 10 or who knows where. However it ends up.
But if you think adding UCF for all sports is better than adding K-State or Kansas, well I think that is silly on every level. Just sayin.
