And your point would be wrong, I grabbed this from one of Phat's posts in another thread "nah I've looked at UNC for the past 10 years and they recruit in the top 35 every year. 3 top 25 finishes and 2 top 20 finishes during that time. They'll finish around #20 this year. (by the way, the State of North Carolina has 14 four star prospects this year. In other words the state has a lot of talent.) LVille usually recruits top 40 with 3 classes in the top 30 over 10 years. They're in a unique geographical spot and their ranking this year is with a new coach (first full recruiting season) who's well connected in the South. Lets see where they go from here. " In addition to that, recruiting comes down to geography and the product you are selling. I don't think it's easy whatsoever to recruit at Syracuse, it's more difficult than most places. Sure it depends a lot on the head coach but I am at the point that if Dino can't get better talent I don't think 9 out of 10 coaches would do much better if at all. Anyone waiting for an abundance of 4 stars at Syracuse is barking up the wrong tree. It's never happened here before and most likely never will. Recruit for your system, develop and work your plan. Strength and conditioning and when Syracuse has a good group of upper classmen you will see some very good seasons. I don't think it's a coincidence that the two best teams we have had in the last 15 years have had a really good group of seniors. Just my opinion but the merry go round of head coaches hasn't helped either.
