BC karma

He wasn't wanted at Florida for a reason ...

after killing howard 76-0, they've scored 6 points a game since, 274 ypg

still amused that so many dinosaurs wanted that snarling neanderthal to be our coach

Can they just hire some offensive wing nut just once... I mean just some guy from the Briles' tree who is the modern day Leach. People would not like the press conferences though.

The snarling meatheads are great for d coordinators because they only need to be OK to succed

I don't think he was very good at Temple, he does a good job of getting his kids to play over their head for big games. Great motivator

I would still take him. BC has absolutely no talent. If they had some talent and he was still playing O that way then yes I would be pissed to have him as my HC. But if his plan is to do more once he has more, then I would certainly interview him should the time come.

agreed, he was very average. The coach they have now is very solid. Don't think they are losing sleep in Philly.

I think he meant clowns to the left and jokers to the right ... but the message is the same I suppose.

The guy lost his starting backfield. Having said that, I hope that the win over BC this year gets us to 8-4.

His clock management at the end of the game where we beat them in the Dome disqualified him in my mind. But some people seem to love his whole "be a dude" schtick.

Clock managmenet/mismanagement is one of the glaring errors I see in football. I know guys who coach in youth leagues who do a better job and are more cogniscent of situations than some high level high school/low level college and New York Giant coaches.

people say har har playstation nation but the truth is those people have more practice managing a clock than most coaches do. players get a million reps but coaches don't simulate this stuff.

You guys are nuts. The guy is a very good coach.

If you can't see that, well, I can't help you.

A good coach doesn't throw away a 20-yd field goal attempt to tie a game in regulation because the ball gets spiked at 0-seconds.

BC had the ball inside the 10 with 56-seconds to go. Inexcusable to at the very least not get a Field Goal off and have 3 shots at the end zone.

Temple is doing better without him... they are 5-0 for the first time in 41 years. ;)

Rhule will be one of the hot coaches once the firings start. Could see him landing at either Maryland, Rutgers, UVA, maybe even VT.

They go for it on 4th down a lot too.

I'm still waiting for the coach who goes for it on fourth down over 50% of the time. I think it will be groundbreaking and I'm curious how the numbers will work out

Well we know it works at the highschool level at least.

our HS goes for it on 4th down all the time, it just means we give the other team the ball closer to the LOS than where a blocked punt ends up.
