Amazingly, after 30 years of fandom this will be my first non-bowl away game

Stubhub is legit and it works. The fees listed do not include all costs, but given the prices out there, it is a very affordable game to go to. Alumni Stadium is a baby stadium where there are no bad seats, so even the cheapest ones listed are good.

And yes care taker, the game was announced with a start time of noon yesterday.

I would vote Stubhub. Never been let down. There is an extra cost, but there is outcome certainty, which is worth paying for, IMO.
