The OTA broadcast is HD on the local CW affiliate in ROC. I’m a chord cutter with an HD antenna and the Raycom games are in HD for me.

I bought a $24 HD antenna on Amazon a few years ago and get plenty of clear local channels because Rochester is flat as a board.

Edit - I use the HD antenna on a Roku tv and it allows for pausing & rewinding over the air broadcasts. Might be worth the investment, even if you have Spectrum, for the HD CW affiliate football and hoops games.

I have had timewarner/spectrum (right up to the merger and got pissed at spectrum) and now directtv. All of the CW's were SD for me.

Hate 12pm games no time to tailgate .. good as there fans won’t have time either especially student body and most will be gone for thanksgiving. I expect a sparse crowd . Good for us
