knowing that we always fall into the trap of extrapolation.

our one common Opp

vs Clemson away

BC threw for 208 13/25
BC ran for 67 on 34 2.0

SU threw for 175 10/26 but 3 INTS
SU ran for 150 on 32 4.7

BC allowed the kid to throw for 342 30/41
Clemson ran 106 on 31 3.4
SU allowed Lawrence to throw 308 29/47
Clemson ran 147 on 37 4.0

both teams scored on D.

But BC made no mistakes, got outgained by 200 yds and somehow got ahead.

Those 3 INTS skewed the game that statistically SU played a better game..

clearly we cant throw 10-26 and beat almost anyone.. make that just an avg 17-26 and 1 not 3 Ints and its a game.. I think TD makes a huge difference in that game.

Rex needs to stop making those poor decision throws. they have haunted everyone of these games

We are going to get rolled. Jurkovich had very good protection and a lot of time to throw against Clemson's 3 man front. He will be baking pies back there against our gents.

so why did he throw so poorly then?

BC's first 5 offensive plays of the game they had nearly half their yards for the entire game. Sometimes QBs start out hot with scripted plays.

They had 50 yards in the 2nd half. 15 of them thanks to a targeting call that overturned an interception.

I hope we have Trill back.

If you think 13-25 for 208 yds and no interceptions is "poor", sign me up for poor please. Clemson's secondary also had a little bit to say about his performance.
