It’s not a good loss but we played poorly. We do not have the talent to overcome that. Clemson had enough talent to beat us despite playing poorly. We don’t have that luxury.

You don’t have to be Clemson to be annoyed losing to a bad Pitt team that, halfway through the game, refused to throw the ball anymore.

We did? I don't remember Marrone losing 30 - 40 points "often" even with 0 - 2 star players.

56 - 10 loss to UL
42 - 14 loss to BC
64 - 43 loss to a not very good WF team with serious injuries too

2016:
62 - 28 loss to UL
45 - 20 loss to south florida
28 - 9 loss to WF
54 - 0 loss to Clemson
45 - 14 to FSU

I can’t accept that. Either we win or lose and loses against teams we should beat are not “good”.

Our run defense is atrocious. Just terrible. And that’s not acceptable.

Stop with the lack of talent excuses. Pitt isn’t any more talented than us. We got exposed on the run last week. Pitt took advantage of our defense and our coaches made zero adjustments.

Disappointed? Absolutely. Annoyed? Without question.

But i’m also a realist about how good we really are. We did not play well enough to win and opponents have found our Achilles heels on tape.

Can we adjust? Do we have the talent to adjust? Not sure. Hope so.

And what I’m really annoyed about is the schizo posters who had us in the BCs last week with Dungey getting the heisman and DB getting a lifetime achievement award to Dungey sucks, fire the DC, we will never win and DB is a meathead.

Drives me stark, raving mad.

They shouldn't count because you had no idea what the scores were the last two years before making a ridiculous post. They count because the basis of your post is that DB hasn't lost by 20 - 30 points, when in fact losing by a lot has been a pretty common occurrence.

You can argue the reasons why those scores were the way they were but that's not what your post said or was about.

Next time just look up the facts and then adjust what your post is about to match the facts.

I watched every SU game if they are on any cable channel since late 80's. So I have good time and bad time. It is a general impression of mine. I don't try to be super accurate in one short passage, just what I remember, also express my support for coach Dino in this thread. I think he did a great job compared to all his predecessors.
