...I know that this isn't a vintage Carolina team, but I have the same reaction I did as when we whipped them in 2009--it is great to beat elite programs like the Tar Heels no matter what the circumstances.

I was giddy in 09 because I knew we were good but that beat down was just a freekin SU garden party! I expected to win this one but the way we won especially without really filling it up on offense was to just physically dominate them on the glass and at the rim. It feels pretty great.

When we can dominate an opponent despite not playing particularly well offensively...

Think about it for a second--if you'd seen our shooting stats before the game, I would have been terrified that we'd lose, based upon stats alone. Instead, we rolled them comfortably.

Agreed and I think we will see more and more ways this team can win. With the D improving and playing consistently well we just absorb a bad shooting game with no problem.

Nice win, good to see our forwards play so well, but it was easy after the first 5 minutes, and NC is obviously down. A workman-like win, with few highlights.

So, no -- not even close to being in the garden in 2009. But great to be 16-0.
