Burke was FLJ's replacement @ UB. Bulls won the WNIT and 30 win season. She takes on a roster with only 1 player on. Interested to see how she builds a roster.

Maybe Buffalo is a better situation than many think for WBB?

Prior to UB, FLJ was 29 games below .500 in conference games as a head coach.

At Buffalo, she was 43 games above .500 in league games.

At SU, she is 2 games above .500 in league games. And unless something changes with recruiting, next year will be more difficult than this year after losing their top scorer from a bad team.

Recruiting seems to be the issue now...and not coaching. In the ACC, we are going against top quality teams every game. Now, we have to contest with Stanford, that just signed a class with 3 Hamburger All Americans!! College basketball is in an Arms Race now and in order to compete, you need some weapons.
We have some good pieces to build around...but, we seem to be having difficulty in adding the specific pieces that we need, that fill the holes in our roster. If we don't get at least 3 players 6-3 and taller, to fill complement our roster, we will be in trouble next year! There is still time to fill those holes...but like a sale at the department store, those that come late, miss out!!!
