Alpha orange said it well, but I'm not calling you out for unconditionally supporting everything Cuse. I'm calling you out for calling out fans who go to the games, exaggerating beyond hyperbole ("one of the most embarrassing performances ever seen") and comments that we played on a high school level. Btw, you called out fans for having seasons and for supporting this team, this staff. Yes I am fiercely loyal and will always go to games. I am an alumni and I am a fan. I support these kids, the band, the cheerleaders, the football coaches and staff who devote untold hours of hard work to try their best to provide me with untold memories (some good, some bad; some unbelievable, some heartbreaking). I go to support them and sometimes they fail, but I don't call them out and I don't derive some negative thrill in calling them out on a message board. No one hurts more than they do when they make a mistake, not you or I. They are already icing their aching muscles and bones and watching film to try to fix those errors and hopefully not make them again the next time. Oh I also go and have season tickets to see old friends / meet new ones at the tailgate and be around other real fans who while we question certain things we see but we also see a bright future for this team, this program and this staff. So I stand by my original post and will not "get over myself."
