I used to plan my social calendar around SU games... Now I can't even muster up the motivation to stay up for a 9PM game...

Am I only one?

This team doesn't inspire me...

I hear ya. During the 2nd half of last night's game I actually switched to the 'Nova vs. Seton Hall game on FS1. Something I'd have never even think about let alone do in year's past...that game was exciting and went to OT. :(

When I saw the thread title, my mind went here...

You're not and I know I'll get ridiculed on here a little bit but I've rarely missed a game in decades and I think it's finally "getting to me" on how mediocre we are. The final four run gave some big time energy and the Ennis buzzer beater was awesome but even the Duke win last season wasn't what it would've been, probably knowing that games like that shouldn't be shockers. I don't like the underdog feel or surprised when we beat a good team.

I have faith for next year but the past 2 seasons felt more like an excuse to go out and throw them back more than excited to see the team play.

It's tough seeing the frustration on Battles face game after game as I think he is very talented. I long for the days of a Wes Johnson smile or the moxy of a Waiters and the confidence of a Cuse team coming onto the floor knowing they're going to win.

Did the same. Once we got down 11 or 13 in the second half I tossed on the Nova game and kept an eye on the Cuse score on the cbs scoreboard app. I'd have never done that in the past but the frustration I have felt with this team boils over at points and it's better for my mental health to look away for periods.

For good chunks of the 9-11 time frame I was watching Nova/Seton Hall

After about 2-3 minutes of the second half, I went to bed. I knew at that point the game was going to get ugly. How can you go from winning earlier in the year by 18 and then lose by 15?

Even when we win, its ugly. Hope things can change. Hope they are simply sanction related.

I've been so apathetic towards this team..my friend wants to go out sat during the game which would be something I would never even consider..I actually might go.

I always have the game on but i definitely tune out much more this season than ever before. The product is hard to watch and I don’t want to get upset. Been watching for
40 years and the more we slide the less excited I get about games.

Late game last night, no TV for me and since I'm usually in bed by 9:30 I wasn't even going to try to find a stream (lack of general overall interest I guess). I texted my normal game buddy saying I will be going to bed and will check the score in the morning. We usually text throughout the games. Well, I listened on radio until halftime and we were having a comeback. So, being the loyal diehard fan that I am, I find a stream and watched it until the last 3 minutes or so. Should of gone to bed. Obviously not the end of the world, but it is frustrating.

SU is a tough product to watch. BC has a fun team. UNC was fun. Duke not so much as they were content to bomb threes and play slow.

hey, last night was the most offense we've seen in months! Agree some of these games are boring/frustrating. I still tune into every game, but found myself shutting off the TV with 5 minutes left, and not worrying a bit about missing a comeback

I'm sure your not the only one. I watch every game but get that people are discouraged. I have been frustrated this season but the fact I knew what we were in for has made it more bearable. Unlike last year which I didn't see coming. I have high hopes for next season.

I've been a fan for 36 years and this year is really the first season where I'm not glued to the TV during the games. I pull up the game on my iPad and do something productive (woodworking, CAD design, etc) while the game is going.

I'm going to the casino and playing poker on Saturday. That would have been unthinkable just a short while ago. my schedule was set by our hoop schedule.

I started watching Netflix at halftime and forgot to turn back to the game. Checked the score on my phone and saw we were down big, so i just went to bed. Pretty sad actually.

Just wait for the high next year when we are not like this. It will be a successful cocky team
