Both teams did pretty well in the Big East Tourney and they get rewarded with having to play the #1 seed if they get past the #8 seed of course. Being a # 11 seed is ideal for both of these teams in my opinion, you play a #6 seed which is Murray State, Vanderbilt, ND, or Creighton.
