Offensive player of the year only has offers from Buffalo and Towson. Strange. I'd have imagined that Wes Brown would be a shoo-in for that honor.

A kid I certainly don't mind having on the roster.

He could definitely be an impact player down the stretch. After watching his highlights, he really has a nose for the ball, and he seems to have no issue with going and getting it. I think he is ranked too low at two stars he should be a three. Many of his receptions came with two defenders blanketing, and just went up and grabbed the ball or placed his body perfectly. I'm very excited about this kid.

If I remember correctly, he plays for a really good team that is in a small school conference. I think the only thing holding him back from the third star is the level of competition he plays against.

He is a kid to me, that one has no idea how good he will be. Most likely a red shirt and after that who knows... Real wildcard, IMO

Tempting to compare him to Max Suter but I thought on offense he looked like Max's highly-recruited teammate, Nick Sukay. Sukay was bigger though.

Agree. I love the kids attitude and work ethic, but is he athletic enough to be a BCS level WR. At best, he reminds me a lot of Eric Decker. (Pray he is that good). I think at worst he is a solid special teamer.

Yep, kid may start in two years or never see the field for 5. I just can't get a gauge on how athletic he actually is. Should be interesting to watch.

i thought he was coming here to play defense?

From what I understand, he tore up the Syracuse one day camp as a WR and then was invited back for another camp and repeated the performance. cuse offered as a WR.

It's because they gave the award base on performance and not hype. The kid set a regular season state record with 49 td's and 2,700 yards this season. 49 touchdowns in one season. He went over 3000 and 50 if you include the playoffs.

Brown's stats - try 1400 yards and 22 touchdowns.

Hope a BCS school shoots him a late offer, those #s really stand out. Thanks for that
