Why does a different take have to mean something nefarious from 2 former players who have given no indications whatsoever, that they have a personal issue with JB? Hell, I love JB and always have- but don’t get me started about bench usage, 100% zone, or allocated PT for players…because I WILL tell you how much i disagree with him. And yet somehow that’s always construed as negativity, or “having an agenda”, or some other such nonsense.
Jim Boeheim is not above reproach. He has underperformed, by his lofty standards, for a good 8 yrs or so, barring some runs in the offseason. And i was one of those who closed my eyes to what was happening, because of the mistaken belief that “only the Tournament matters”, so a couple of March Madness wins i thought were enough. I have changed my mind on that, and realize that there were many obvious symptoms, of a much deeper disease.
Let’s not attach false equivalence to every criticism. Let’s not question the motives of fellow Orangemen, because they are asking the questions that rightfully need to be asked. JMHO
