Benny Williams...Point Guard?

I'm wondering what would happen to all this wailing and gnashing of teeth if we end up seeing Benny Williams being Joe's back up at Point Guard? After all, before his growth spurt, he played point guard when he was 5'9"

Could that be the reason why Jim Boeheim wasn't all that alarmed at Kadary wanting to move on?
