Off the wall trivia: SU grad Mike Netti, former Liverpool HS player from the late 1990's and son of Frank Netti former Liverpool HS and Lemoyne's girls' coach, was an assistant at Gardner-Webb for 7 years until last year. He's now an assistant coach at Eastern Carolina.

Sometimes the best thing is to watch a game where you don't know a single player. I have fond memories of going to random high school b-ball tournaments with my old man around the holidays. We'd sit in the stands and watch these kids who we had never heard of and we'd enjoy deciphering their playing personalities and watching them leave it all on the floor (99% of these kids simply play for the love of the game).

Sounds like you saw a good one in the Gardner Webb - Radford matchup.
