Despite the injury I expect Prioli to start at midfield or if they shift Mariano then at attack. He brings way to much experience and skill especially to a mid field line that has nothing but question marks at this point. I still think theres a good chance Romano plays this year, he's the most highly touted middie on the roster at this point and with none of the redshirt middies seeming making an impression in the fall he has a great opportunity these next few weeks. I think we see him in the early scrimmages. I am very bullish on the SSDM this year. Lots of returning experience and as you noted some size with Gillis and the youngsters, I think we will be good there. Wings are still a big ? for me, I need to see it done when it counts. Wings have been bad for a while now. I do like the fact that they have Salcido out there, kid is a heck of an athlete. I pointed out last year that I though Ciferi was doing a good job at the wing in limited time, I think him and Salcido rotating in there would be great. I am high on the D as well but I think at least one other Frosh will see time this year besides Mellen. Tait and McDermott have been to inconsistent in there careers here for me to think that Helmer or Chavez or the native American kid won't push them for PT. Personally I thought Warren should have won the job last year but either way he's clearly the guy this year and I think the position is in great hands, only downside is that we only get him for one year.
