Good news - we're already 33% of the way to making your hopes come true!Hoping we avoid the noon time slots for all home games this year!
My guess: Noon on the ACCN.
Checked week 2 as week 1 is all over the place time wise for games but so is week 2
There are two Fri night games at 8pm
On Sat there is an 11am Game Pitt
2 noon Games US and VA-Tech
A 12:30 Game NC State vs Western Carolina - Some foreshadowing for a game time for Holy Cross
A 2PM Game Ga-Tech
2 3:30 Games Clemson and BC
2 6pm games FSU and Duke
A 7 Pm game - Lville
And an 8pm Game UNC vs Miami
Seems like the windows will be Noon, 12:30, 3:30, 6 and then a later game. Looks like 2 and 4pm will come into play in different weeks.
Looking at week 4 there looks there should be prime candidates for the 12 o clock games, between Central Michigan-Miami App state-North Carolina, Old Dominion-Virginia, Elon-Wake Forest. I feel all those games should be considered lower than Syracuse-Western Michigan. With that said I have no Idea if ACC considers the noon kickers to be higher in the pecking order than say 3:30-4:00 kicks.
Looks like 3 ACC teams have byes that week - Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, and Duke.
Guessing BC @ Rutgers will be a Big 10 network game. And I'm thinking UCF @ Pitt will get an ESPN slot. That leaves 8 games to slot. ACC Network will get 3 of them.
Charlotte @ Clemson
Ball State @ NC State
App State @ UNC
WMU @ Syracuse
Elon @ Wake Forest
ODU @ Uva
UCF @ Pitt
CMU @ Miami
Not sure what the contractual set up is for 2019 - anyone know? - but I like our chances of avoiding a nooner.
Holy Cross could be the nooner with FanFest scheduled after the game I'm sure we would prefer that to a night game.
Duke plays Va. Tech Friday night that week. Miami and Louisville are on byes and UVa is at Notre dame where ND owns the rights on NBC.
That leaves 7 games to slot. ACC Network will get 3.
Duke @ Va tech
Clemson @ UNC
Delaware @ Pitt
Holy Cross @ Syracuse
Ga Tech @ Temple
NC St @ FSU
Wake @ BC
Not sure who has the rights for Temple and would expect the 4 conference matchups to get consideration for broader distribution and the ACCN prime time slot.

Is the fan fest confirmed after the game? If that is the case than Su will try to push the ACC into scheduling us in the early window of games. Theres no way there gonna have a night game, than do fan fest after that game.
