Best New Year's Day in years

OK, so yestersay was New Year's Day.

Today I watched a 33-30 overtime game, then a 45-38 game, Then a 41-38 overtime game. Unlike the great old New Year Days, (see "Ghosts of New year's Past"), none of these games had any impact on the national title but they sure were three great games.

Great day of football. I really enjoyed watching non big east college football this year. Many entertaining teams to watch.

Yeah, how great would this have been if it was part of a national quarter final? The anticipation of next weekend's games would be huge.

No doubt...Giants won; eliminated the Cowboys in the process (sweet!) and the J-E-T-S imploded yet again...

Definitely one of the best New Year's Days ever...
