It's a wash here Syracuse is clearly a basketball school first where football is an afterthought, at UVA its a basketball school first as well but they seem more engaged in football than we do. Coyle can change that, but until he does and there is some proof, slight edge to UVA.(very slight edge) NYS high school football is poor, you have a poor regional recruiting base in-state, Virginia has much better high school football and while you are "little brother" to VaTech the state produces much better D1 football players. Huge edge to UVA there. All in all, the jobs are about equal. So then it comes down to $$$ and UVA will probably pay a head coach more than SU will so UVA is a better job but not my much.
