So, about midway through the 2nd half I was about to start a scathing post directed towards our posters and the critical commentary in the game thread about JB's inability to coach. I was frustrated that Syracuse has made it this far with the fans on the board cuddling up all nice and tight, then things start poorly and it was just embarrassing how quickly fans jump off. Almost right away the conversation was about how "we've let Perrantes kill us for 3 years from that spot" and "why doesn't Boeheim EVER make changes" and "We were not prepared," etc. Thankfully as fans we can all celebrate a legendary comeback... I honestly wish posters would own their shenanigans toward the coach. Even if we lose next week, it's been an amazing run and needs to be acknowledged as such. JB made some excellent changes at halftime. The commentators recognized early that we moved away from the pick and roll to screening for cutters instead. The timing and implementation of the full court press was perfect. JB's decision changed the speed of the game and changed the momentum too. The players did what they needed to do and owned it, they handled their business between the lines. But man, great job coach!
