Trick question as they are both a great opportunity. What is more in line with a hard nosed football coach than to go up to Ft Drum and hang out with real hard nosed soldiers. That's a great way to spend a day building your team. It's not the first time the team has done it but it's Shafer's first time. I think Shafer will get a lot of mileage out of that trip.

However, four games in four days for the basketball squad. That's a lot of quality time spent together by this team. Remember this team has lost a lot of experience over the last couple seasons and need to forge it's own identity. Who will emerge as the leader of the team. You would have to think it would be Ennis for this team to be a factor this season. One thing about these four games in succession, everyone on the trip will get lots of minutes to prove themselves.

I agree your point guard always has to have some kind of leadership role, as he's running the team on the court. I also think CJ has to be a leader since he's our best senior and expected to carry much of the offensive load.
