Swaim is reporting that the B12 schedule may be released as soon as Monday. Also says they will be 10 in 2012 and go to 12 in 2013 by adding BYU and LVille.

Didn't you just tell us?

"The new rumor is that the B12 is now looking at ACC teams instead of BE teams. Clemson and FSU in particular.

Still waiting to learn the source of that exciting rumor.

Swaim just throws out anything he hears. He's the National Enquirer. I had to unfollow him because some of his stuff is ridiculous. When you start talking about schools like FSU and Clemson going to the Big 12, that just doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

But a reputable journalist (I believe McMurphy) did say that the Big 12 schedule would be released by Feb 1 and that the conference is deciding on whether to go to stay at 10 or go to 11 or 12. He also said 11 is 100% Louisville.

Well, if the B12 contacted FSU and Clemson, they may have just said no. The reason McMurphy said Feb 1 is because according to Swaim, the schedule has to be given to the networks then so it makes sense.

That was noted in a previous thread.

Some idiot WVU blogger wrote a blog about the XII raiding the ACC for Pitt, Boston College, FSU, Clemson, etc.

That's some of the biggest bulls@t I've ever heard.

This just in...Rick Pitino compared Louisville's possible move to the Big 12 like cheating on your wife of 27 years in a restaurant.

HCTOB has taken himself out of consideration for the Big XII commissioner position.

What would an ACC team gain by going to the Big 12? The SEC just picked off two its teams, Texas and the Oklahoma schools were reportedly looking at other conferences last year, and they would be trading Tobacco Road centric leadership for Texas centric leadership. Unless the money is and will be much better, it does not seem like a good move.

What does LVille bring to the table? This is a real question because I don't know what kind of TV markets they have, especially in their own middling state.
