I think the ACC should wait it out. No benefit in being the first to get signed up.

Problem is the ACC deal isn't an open market bid. ESPN already has a contract with ACC. The only reason this contract is even being renegotiated is because of the new members. Had they been allowed to shop this contract on the open market, I would've expected to see big numbers.

My only hope is for the ACC not to lock into a long term deal on this renegotiation.
